The Challenge
GoodFood needed a mobile app design for their food delivery service that could compete with established platforms while maintaining their unique brand personality. The app needed to handle the full ordering flow — location selection, restaurant browsing, menu exploration, cart management, and checkout.
The UX research phase revealed that users abandon food delivery apps most often during restaurant selection and checkout. The design needed to minimize friction at these critical points.


Our Approach
We started with comprehensive customer journey mapping to identify pain points and opportunities across the entire ordering experience. From there, we designed wireframes covering every screen — splash sequences, location selection, sign-in/sign-up, home screen with deals, search with filters, restaurant menus with sticky navigation, and a streamlined checkout.
The design prioritizes speed of ordering — prominent deals, smart search with filter capabilities, and a persistent cart that follows the user through the experience. Restaurant pages use sticky menu headers for easy category navigation.
